Thank you for visiting Jacob's page.  Jacob was our first child.  He died suddenly and unexpectedly during birth.  Carolyn's pregnancy with Jacob was problem free and Jacob was totally healthy throughout.  His vitals remained normal and strong all the way up until the monitor was removed for the final phase of the birth.  The monitor was only off for about 5 minutes.  Somewhere in that 5 minutes... something happened. 
To this day we still do not know what happened.  An autopsy showed Jacob was normal with no complications or birth defects of any kind.  Extensive tests were done on Jacob and Carolyn and I in order to discover what happened to no avail. He was a beautiful baby with dark curly hair like his mother.  We miss him dearly. 

Jacob remains in the hearts of those who love him.
